Ovation Entertainment Solutions, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates Ovation OS, a software-as-a-service platform for event production and equipment rental management. This Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on our marketing website at ovation-os.com, our application at ovation-os.com, and our related services (collectively, the "Services").

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. Similar technologies include browser local storage, which lets an application save information directly in your browser. These technologies allow the Services to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and operate reliably.

We use only first-party cookies and similar technologies — set on our own domains, by us or by service providers acting on our behalf — to operate, secure, and improve the Services. Some of these support product analytics and session recording, described in Section 1.4. We do not use third-party advertising networks, cross-site behavioral tracking, or advertising cookies, and we do not sell your personal information.

1.1 Essential and Authentication Cookies

Keep you signed in and maintain the security of your account through session and authentication cookies.
Protect against unauthorized access and maintain the integrity of your session.
The Services will not function without these cookies, so they cannot be disabled while you use the Services.

1.2 Cross-Domain Authentication Cookies

Keep you and your users signed in as you move between our own domains and any custom or client-portal domains a customer configures (for example, a client portal at portal.yourcompany.com).
To support this, we set authentication cookies on those domains.
These cookies are used solely to maintain your session, not for advertising.

1.3 Functional and Preference Cookies

Remember the active workspace and organization you are working in.
Remember interface preferences such as your selected theme.
Remember your last sign-in method to streamline future sign-ins.

1.4 Analytics and Session-Recording Cookies

Our product-analytics provider, PostHog, sets a first-party cookie (named in the form ph_<project id>_posthog) and mirrors it in browser local storage. It holds a randomly generated identifier for your browser and the identifier of your current session. Its default lifetime is one year.
These technologies let us count visitors and sessions, see which pages and features are used, measure page performance, detect repeated or unproductive clicks, build aggregated click maps, and group errors by session.
They also support session recording: a replay of what was displayed on screen during your visit, along with mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, typing activity, browser console messages, and network-request timing. Values you type into form fields, including passwords, are masked and are not captured; other content shown on the page is captured. Recordings are deleted after 30 days.
Once you sign in, this identifier is linked to your account, organization, and workspace. These technologies are set on our own domains and on any custom or client-portal domain a customer configures.
PostHog processes this information on our behalf and is not permitted to use it for its own purposes or for advertising.

1.5 Error Monitoring and Diagnostics

Our error-monitoring and logging providers (Better Stack and PostHog) may set technologies that capture diagnostic information, including IP addresses, to help us identify and fix problems.
Diagnostic events may include technical details about the error and the state of the application when it occurred.

1.6 Local Storage

We store items such as a user identifier and email address in your browser's local storage to support authentication and a smoother experience.
We store interface preferences in local storage so the application remembers how you like to work.

2. Managing Cookies

You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

View the cookies that are stored and delete them individually or all at once.
Block cookies from being set, either entirely or for specific sites.
Receive a warning before a cookie is stored.

Please note that blocking essential or authentication cookies may prevent you from signing in to or using the Services. The procedure for managing cookies varies by browser; consult your browser's help documentation for specific instructions.

Blocking or clearing the analytics cookie and storage described in Section 1.4, or using a browser or extension that blocks analytics scripts, stops usage events and session recording without affecting your ability to use the Services. 3. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal that you can enable to express a preference not to be tracked across websites. Because we do not track users across unaffiliated sites for advertising or behavioral profiling, we do not respond to DNT signals differently. Our use of cookies and similar technologies is limited to operating, securing, and improving the Services, as described in this policy.
